DEEPER STILL...

As MUCH as I have to be thankful for, pain and despair plunge through my heart sometimes. It's only human. There are times when I feel caught in the ground under the dust or bound in chains, just so DONE!  Need help, for real.  How about you?  As much as we hear about the power of self, the reality is that "self" gets knocked down sometimes. Hard.  We can hit a barrier that no amount of positive talk can get us through.  NOT to speak negatively... track with me. ...The older I get, the more I know I MUST have GOD's love.  The more I know that I DON'T know everything. And how very ok that is.  Only a whisper of His Name may be all I can muster sometimes, but He reaches out with His powerful, immovable, not- dependant- on- how -He- is -feeling -that- day love.  No roadblock He can't handle or help me around.  When I simply cannot.  Go one.  step.  more... He picks me up and carries me to where I can stretch and recover...and run and thrive. Jesus and I TOGETHER are always exponentially more effective than when I'm just pushing myself by myself.  That's just the truth. Yes, even in the midst of great adversity.

Jesus is patient

Jesus is kind

Jesus does not envy or brag

Jesus is not proud or rude

Jesus does not demand his own way

Jesus is not irritable

Jesus keeps no record of being wronged

Jesus does not delight in evil,

But is joyful whenever the truth wins out
 

Jesus never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and His love endures through every circumstance.
